Kyary Pamyu Pamyu has once again worked with capsule's brilliant Yasutaka Nakata on her irresistible new single " にんじゃりばんばん," also known as ""Ninjya Re Bang Bang" (Google translation: "Turn Turn Ninja"). The video for the song is highly adorable, perhaps her best yet. Even rivals "Fashion Monster." But I'll let you check it out for yourself. I'm just here to spoil the song. Well, not spoil it exactly -- I'm just here to tell you that you simply must hear it... And so... its first selling point is that it's got a classic capsule-style, thumping beat that incites your body to move as it bangs away while old school Japanese strings add detail in a somewhat amusing manner, being that they're so mismatched with the turbo-charged beats. There's also lots of glimmering synth and assorted loops that help paint the song's colorful wall of sound. As for Kyary, well, she sounds as lovely as ever, if not more so. Maybe her voice is just growing on me more and more all of the time because it seems like I love her voice more with the release of each single. Initially, I recall thinking that she was trying a little too hard to sound cute but now I think that's just her natural voice. Everything about her is adorable anyway, isn't it? Now go watch the video because it's the cutest thing ever! -Michael McCarthy

NOTE: A 3 track CD version of this single will be released on March 20th. We're sure Michael will cover it when it comes out. But the title track is already available through digital outlets, hence his reviewing this track now.

Although not as epic as her earlier releases, still a great song and video.
