Get Lucky and ride the wave

It's been three years since the airing of Lucky Star, but that doesn't stop manufacturers from still making merchandise for the show.

Even MORE Lucky Star figmas to be released.

By JoshB on July 31, 2009

Besides Konata Izumi, Max Factory will release summer uniforms of Miyuki Takara and Tsukasa Hiragi. For use on these or if you have the winter uniform versions already, Miyuki will come with the cat seen during the eye catches and a head of Minami while Tsukasa will have a school bag and a head of Hiyori. I actually like this killing two birds with one stone strategy. Release it as a summer uniform variant of the previous characters AND have be one of the other characters. Both of these will also come with a blank face with a sticker sheet to make your own expressions and see a September release.

And then there were four.

The pillar of moe Miyuki Takara will join her friends as part of freeing's line of 1/4 scale Lucky Star figures. Will be released in October at 12,191 yen.

Should have saw this coming. Konata Izumi, now in her summer uniform. Besides her DADADADA and smug face, she'll come with a blank face to put your own expressions and even better, a spare head of her cousin Yutaka. The face expressions are great!

Freeing continues their line of 1/4 scale (I think that's almost two feet tall) figures from the anime Lucky Star. Their second release will be Kagami Hiragi (first being Konata Izumi). If you notice, the figure has real cloth clothing. Oh what could be underneath? It will be released August for 12,190 yen. They plan to do all four of the main characters this way with their gym uniforms.
